Use the tool for anything lawful, as often as you like, for personal or commercial work, without an account and without asking. Results you produce are yours. Nothing here claims any interest in a picture you open or in a copy you save.

• Use the tool to help commit an offence, to interfere with evidence, or to conceal something you are under an obligation to disclose.
• Work on pictures you have no right to work on.
• Attempt to disrupt the site, or to present it as your own product.

The site is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. Browsers differ, files are malformed in creative ways, and a picture that opens on one device may not open on another.

The specific disclaimer worth reading is about concealment. This tool replaces pixels inside the regions you draw and nothing else. It does not judge whether you drew them in the right places, whether you covered everything that identifies somebody, or whether the covering you chose is strong enough for what is underneath it. The guide pages give the best advice we have, including the advice that two of the three coverings are weaker than they look. None of it is a guarantee, and none of it is legal advice. If the consequence of a mistake is serious, check the saved file yourself before it goes anywhere.

To the fullest extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for loss or damage arising from using this site, including anything that follows from a covering proving insufficient. Where the law will not let liability be excluded outright, it is capped at what this site has charged you, and this site has charged you nothing.

These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means the new version applies. Questions, corrections and reports of something broken can go to hello@blurpicture.com.
